Dive R1743 Highlights Oregon Offshore PN1C
Oregon Offshore PN1C: This dive install the extension cable RS01W9 (925 m) extending from Primary Node PN1C to low voltage node LV01C. ROPOS dove on PN1C with ROCLS holding cable RS01W9. ROPOS detached from ROCLS near PN1C, cut the straps holding the doors closed onthe trawl-resistant frame of PN1C, opened the doors, and then surveyed the cable lay route. ROPOS attached the cable and the strain relief to PN1C, and then reattached to ROCLS and laid cable RS01W9 between PN1C and the LV01C site. Video credit: NSF-OOI/UW/CSSF; Dive R1743; V14.
