Dive R1781 Highlights Primary Node PN1D
This dive at Primary Node PN1D was in support of the cable ship the Dependable. The ROV ROPOS supported the installation of a 17 km extension cable extending to the Oregon Shelf Site. Huge ling cod appear to have made the node their "house", while snails (with yellow egg stalks), sea anenomes, and a variety of fish are also thriving on this "reef".
